Perimeter Solutions operates as the largest global producer of fire-fighting chemicals with a broad product offering across fire retardant and firefighting foam applications. Perimeter is a key supplier of wildland fire fighting products and services to the Provincial Agencies across Canada

This full-time position has the responsibility of ensuring the Kamloops facility operates safely and efficiently to meet agency and customer Fire Retardant demands throughout the fire season. This includes directing manufacturing, equipment, maintenance, material receipts & shipments, and the personnel that make these all happen.

Location: Kamloops, BC facility Job Summary:

• Ensure adequate supplies of Fire Retardant is available to meet projected demands
• Promote and support EHS initiatives and programs
• Organize equipment and facility maintenance through CMMS program
• Coordinate personnel across departments and with other facilities
• Active participation in recruitment and hiring of seasonal employees

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in directing a team
• Budget planning and execution

Requirements:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Possess strong leadership and communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities & coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
• Valid driver’s license

Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8am – 5pm, Participation in production on call program

Willingness to Travel: This position may require travel to other Perimeter Solutions locations across North America

Physical Demands: -Work is performed both inside a shop as well as outdoors, and may involve walking, bending, and standing for extended periods of time. Manual handling of items weighing roughly 50 lbs.
