
Key Account & Business Development Manager - Spain or France

Location: Spain or France.
Scope:
We are looking for a skilled KEY ACCOUNT & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, who will Take the lead on our Long-Term Retardant market on EMEA region:
-Reinforce relationships with existing Key Customers (Governmental Agencies),
-Create and execute Action Plan to increase market share by settling new partnerships with Wildfire Fighting actors (aircrafts bodybuilders, aerial operators and first responders’ contractors)
-Develop Prevention market with public and private entities to diversify our contribution to biodiversity and property preservation and protection
-Identify new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business growth on EMEA region for firefighting industry solutions and services.
Responsibilities:
-Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs, ensuring their satisfaction with products or services to ensure they do not turn to competition.
-Acting as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
-Identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and strategizing to expand the company's footprint in the market.
-Analyzing competitor activities and market dynamics, adjusting account strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive advantage.
-Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal stakeholders using key account metrics.
-Collaborating with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and customer support, to deliver exceptional services.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or similar in Sales / Business Administration / Engineering is required, Master and/or advanced degree is a preferred.
-Professional Fluency in English is mandatory, native languages could either Spanish or French (all three would be a strong asset).
-5 or more years’ experience working in a multinational manufacturing company required, chemicals industry highly preferred.
-Experience working with the public administration or governmental agencies, preferably in the firefighting/disaster relief environment and local government offices preferred.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
-Solid knowledge in costing and accounting required along recognized track of success in key account management
-The candidate will be based either in Spain or France. Position will require 30%+ time to travel on EMEA Region.
