Southern Region Systems Sales Specialist (Home Based)

Remote - Beaumont, TX

Location:  Home based within the south region – Houston – Beaumont.

Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Support the B foam systems business for current and potential clients. 
  • Grow the sprinkler contractor customer base
  • Network with the Architectural and Engineering firms, Sprinkler contractors, and end users
  • Managing customer relationships.
  • Provide quotes for systems.
  • Document customer interaction by entering calls, visits, meetings, and training with customers in CRM module within NetSuite.
  • Analyze data and provide thoughtful leadership to aid in the continued development of the sales strategy.
  • Lead by example: hands-on, field-oriented leadership style that provides energy, passion, and direction for the team.
  • Maintain a strong team culture that is consistent with the values of the company.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or technical services with product and equipment knowledge within the fire suppressants markets.
  • Knowledge and understanding of NFPA requirement for flammable liquid system design and installation.
  • Proven sales leadership success, with the ability to build a comprehensive strategy and implement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that can lead to productive interactions/relationships.
  • Travel as needed (estimated at 50-60%) This position supports the following states:  Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Arkansas
